In Sri Lanka you can enjoy inland and deep sea fishing. Inland fishing can be arranged at any time of year due to the constant smoothness of the water on inland waterways and reservoirs around Sri Lanka. However deep sea fishing is dependent on the season, western and southern coasts from November to April and the east coast from May to September. You can choose to fish from the beach itself or go further out to sea in motor boat.
Fishing tours can be arranged even on a day basis or as a part of longer excursions, up to your choice.
