But the best place to catch a wave is on the east coast in Arugam Bay, this place is world famous for surfing, great place to chill.
The season flips during the year according to the monsoon time; when it comes to surfing in Sri Lanka, from October to April the South West Coast has perfect conditions and from April to October you should better go to the East Coast of the island.
